Continuing Education

Physicians—This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint sponsorship of the Institute for the Advancement of Human Behavior (IAHB) and OptumHealth Care Solutions. The IAHB is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Amedco is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. Successful completion of this program qualifies for up to 18.25 contact hours. Case Managers—The Commission for Case Manager Certification has approved this program for a maximum of 18.25 clock hours for Certified Case Managers (CCM).

Managed Care Nurses—This activity has been approved for a maximum of 18.25 clock hours for Certified Managed Care Nurse (CMCN) recertification by the American Board of Managed Care Nursing (ABMCN).

Nurses—OptumHealth Care Solutions is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Wisconsin Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.

This conference provides up to 18.25 contact hours.

The Nurse Planner and Activity Planners for this program have no conflicts of interest to report.

Dieticians—This program has been approved by the Commission on Dietetic Registration for 18.5 CPEUs.

Social Workers—R. Cassidy Seminars, ACE provider #1082 is approved as a provider for social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) www.aswb.org, through the Approved Continuing Education (ACE) Program. Approval Period: April 15, 2009-April 15, 2012. R. Cassidy Seminars maintains responsibility for the program. Social workers should contact their regulatory board to determine course approval. Social workers will receive 18.0 continuing education (clinical) clock hours in participating in this course.
