The 2010 Advances in the Management of Oncology Patients Conference will be held at the FireSky Resort & Spa, an oasis nestled in the heart of Scottsdale. Ideally located in historic Old Town Scottsdale, the FireSky is just 12 miles from Phoenix's Sky Harbor Airport and within walking distance of the Scottsdale Waterfront district with its fabulous boutiques and art galleries, fine dining, cultural attractions, and Scottsdale Fashion Square—the Southwest's largest shopping destination. Hotel room rate: $169.00 single/double occupancy; $15 for each additional guest (Rate is per room per night and is subject to prevailing state and local taxes.) Gratuities for porterage ($7 round trip/person) and housekeeping ($3/day) will be added to the guest folio. A cancellation fee of one night's guestroom and tax will be billed for a reservation canceled less than seventy-two (72) hours prior to the scheduled arrival date.

Hotel room release date: Friday, April 2, 2010. Reservations made after this date, or after the room block is sold out, will be at the prevailing room rate and subject to availability. Scottsdale is a popular destination, so reserve your room early!

Towncar/Scheduled Service:  The preferred airport transfer company for this conference is TransInc.  TransInc will coordinate shared rides for those that are interested.  Following are the transfer charges for a single passenger. This cost will be shared with multiple passengers.

Program Materials

Program materials will be in electronic format. Approximately one week prior to the conference, you will receive an e-mail with instructions on how to access the program materials in advance. Conference Attire

Attire for the conference is business casual. Although every effort is made to maintain a comfortable learning environment, meeting room temperatures can fluctuate greatly and may be difficult to control. The temperature is often cool in the meeting room. Therefore, bringing along a jacket or sweater is recommended.
